Tasks and Breaks
Tasks and Breaks are events you put on your calendar to block time for yourself — paperwork, lunch, a personal errand, a recurring cleaning slot. Unlike appointments, they have no client, no services, and no pricing. They can be one-off or recurring.

Common issues
Section titled “Common issues”Please enter a title. Required for regular tasks and breaks. Either fill the title, or toggleDaily BreakON.- The color picker is missing.
Daily Breakis ON. Toggle it off to access color and other options. - The Repetition dropdown is missing. You’re editing an existing event. Repetition can only be set at creation — delete and recreate to change it.
- The end date won’t accept my chosen date. It must be within 90 days of the start. Pick an earlier date.
- One occurrence disappeared from the series. It was deleted from the related instance. There’s no undo — recreate it as a standalone event.
- I deleted one occurrence and the whole series vanished. You deleted the parent event, which removes every instance. Open a related instance and delete it from there to remove only one date.
- The Related Events section shows
Failed to load related events. TapRetry. If it keeps failing, the parent event may no longer exist. - My task overlaps with an appointment. That’s allowed — tasks and breaks are informational and don’t block appointment creation.
