Online Booking
Online Booking gives you a public link clients can use to book appointments themselves. They pick a service, pick a time, fill in their contact details, and confirm. New bookings appear on your calendar as requests you can accept or decline.
Online Booking is a premium feature. See Subscription.
How to get there
Section titled “How to get there”Hometab >Online Bookingtile, orSettingstab >Online Booking.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Share a personal booking link with clients (one unique link per account).
- Choose which services and which addresses are available for online booking.
- Set how far ahead clients can book and how much notice you need.
- Receive incoming bookings on your calendar with an
Online Bookingbadge. - Accept or decline each request from the appointment details screen.
- Customize the message that goes out with your booking link.
Before you turn it on
Section titled “Before you turn it on”To get the best results, make sure you have:
- At least one service with
Allow online bookingON. See Services. - At least one address with
Allow booking at this addressON. See Addresses. - Working hours set for upcoming days. See Working Hours.
- Your contact details filled in under
Settings > Personal Details.
Services are the only required item. Contact details and a booking address are strongly recommended so clients see a complete booking page.
Turn online booking on
Section titled “Turn online booking on”- Open
Home > Online Booking. - Toggle
Enable Online BookingON. If you’re not already on premium, you may be prompted to upgrade. - After the toggle is on, the
Share Your Booking Linkcard appears with your unique URL.
Share your booking link
Section titled “Share your booking link”- On the
Online Bookingpage, tap theShare Your Booking Linkcard. - Pick an action in the sheet:
Copy link— copies just the URL to the clipboard.Share message— opens your phone’s share sheet with the pre-filled message and your URL. From there you can send via Messages, WhatsApp, Email, Instagram, or any installed app.
- To customize the message, tap
Edit message. The{url}placeholder is locked — it’s how your URL gets injected when shared. Type your message around it. The editor shows a live character counter; the message is capped at 500 characters. - Tap
Save. A toast confirms the change.
Configure booking rules
Section titled “Configure booking rules”The Online Booking page is a stack of cards you can adjust top to bottom. See Booking Settings for the full reference, including booking window, advance notice, slot intervals, and cancellation policy URL.
What happens when a client books
Section titled “What happens when a client books”When a client books through your link, the appointment appears on your calendar with an Online Booking badge and a pending status. Bookora links the booking to an existing client when the phone number matches, or creates a new client otherwise. Open the appointment to act on it: Accept confirms the booking, and Decline deletes it. If the client has notifications enabled, both actions offer to send them a message. See Booking Requests.
What clients see
Section titled “What clients see”- Your booking page shows your bookable services, your booking addresses, and your available slots.
- The slot times are shown in the client’s own timezone — they see the times that are relevant to them, while you see the booking in your local timezone.
- The booking flow steps the client through service > day > slot > contact details > confirm.
- If a client leaves the booking page mid-flow they may need to start over from your link.
Limits and things to know
Section titled “Limits and things to know”- The booking link is auto-generated. The exact slug is set by Bookora and is not customizable from this view.
- Online Booking is premium-only. If your subscription expires, the toggle is automatically turned off and your booking page becomes unavailable until you renew.
- You can edit the sharing message but the
{url}placeholder is protected — you can’t delete or duplicate it. The message is capped at 500 characters. - Your booking link is a single shareable URL — it works in any channel with no setup, expiration, or per-recipient configuration.
- You can’t theme the public page’s colors, fonts, or logo from this view.
- Online bookings are single-occurrence only. Clients can’t book a recurring series.
- There’s no per-day, per-location block. If you want to make a specific address unavailable on a specific date, edit your working hours for that date instead — see Working Hours.
Common issues
Section titled “Common issues”-
The Enable toggle flips back off after I tap it. The premium upgrade was cancelled or the purchase failed. Open Subscription and try again.
-
Clients see no slots on my booking page. Walk through the checks in order:
Enable Online Bookingis ON.- At least one service has
Allow online bookingON. - You have working hours for upcoming days.
- At least one address has
Allow booking at this addressON. - Advance notice isn’t so high that all visible days are excluded.
- The booking window isn’t set to today only.
See Booking Settings.
-
The link returns “unavailable” or a blank page. Online Booking is off, your subscription has expired, or no services are bookable. Re-check the items above.
-
Tapping the share card does nothing. Make sure you allowed system clipboard or share permissions when first prompted.
-
I can’t delete the
{url}placeholder. That’s intentional — it’s the only way the link gets inserted when shared. -
Saving the sharing message fails. Usually a network issue. Try again, and check that the message isn’t longer than 500 characters.
-
A client says the time on the booking page is different from the time on my side. That’s expected. Clients see slots in their own timezone; you see the booking in your local timezone. The booking still represents the same moment in time.
