Switch Between Team Accounts

The team owner can switch between their own account and active member accounts without entering each member’s password. Each account opens with its own calendar, clients, services, statistics, profile, and settings.

  • You must be signed in as the team owner, or still be using the owner session after switching to a member.
  • The destination member must be Active. A pending invitation cannot be opened until the person accepts it.
  • An internet connection is required because Bookora verifies access and reloads the selected account.

A member who signs in directly with their own email, Apple account, or Google account cannot switch into other team accounts.

  1. Tap the profile card.
  2. Tap Team to open the account list.
  3. Tap an active account.
  4. Keep Bookora open while Switching to … is displayed.

Bookora reloads the chosen account and keeps you on the profile screen, so the name and photo on the profile card change to the account you switched into right away. Check that name or avatar before creating, editing, or deleting anything.

To return to the owner, open the same account list and tap the owner’s account.

The selected account becomes the account you are acting as. Appointments, clients, services, addresses, inventory, statistics, profile details, and personal Google Calendar data all belong to that selected account.

Switching does not copy or merge information. It changes which separate account is open.

While a member account is open, Add account and Manage team are hidden. Switch back to the owner to manage the team or subscription.

The owner’s signed-in device can access every active team account. Use a device passcode or biometric lock and do not let untrusted people use the device. If the device is lost or shared, sign out of Bookora as soon as possible. A full sign-out removes the saved Bookora sessions from that device.

  • Connect to the internet to switch accounts. Reconnect to Wi-Fi or mobile data and try again.
  • A member row cannot be tapped. Pending invitations cannot be opened. The person must accept the invitation first.
  • Bookora returned to the owner’s account. The member may have been removed from the team, which immediately ends the owner’s access to that account. Refresh Manage team and check the member’s status.
  • Bookora signed me out. The owner’s session could no longer be verified. Sign in as the owner again.
  • I am a member and see no other accounts. This is expected for a direct member sign-in. Only an owner session can switch.
  • I cannot find Manage team. You are probably inside a member account. Switch back to the owner.
  • I see the previous account’s data after switching. Pull to refresh the affected page. If it remains, close and reopen Bookora and verify the profile name before making changes.

If switching repeatedly fails, contact support@bookora.me and include the owner email, affected member email, and the message shown in the app. Never send a password.
