Support Chat
Support Chat is your direct line to Bookora. You exchange messages with Kora (the AI assistant, marked with an AI chip) and a human Specialist when needed. The chat keeps full history, shows typing indicators, and supports plain-text messages.
How to get there
Section titled “How to get there”Settingstab >Chat, or- The unread chat badge on the Home screen.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Ask any question about Bookora and get an immediate answer.
- Report a bug or suggest a new feature.
- Get a human reply when your question needs one.
- See your full conversation history.
- Get a push notification when there’s a new reply.
- Long-press any message to copy its text.
Send a message
Section titled “Send a message”- Open the chat. The first time, you’ll see a short welcome.
- Type in the
Type a message...field at the bottom. - Tap the send icon. Your message appears on the right side of the conversation.
- A typing indicator appears while a reply is being prepared.
- Replies from
Kora(the AI assistant) appear on the left with aKoralabel and anAIchip. Replies from a humanSpecialistappear with a different avatar and theSpecialistlabel.
Load older messages
Section titled “Load older messages”Scroll up to load older messages. The conversation pages 100 at a time.
What you can ask
Section titled “What you can ask”- How a feature works (the AI can answer from this help center’s content).
- Where to find something in the app.
- A bug report — describe what went wrong in writing.
- A feature request — describe what you’d like added.
If your question is account-specific (for example, “my client wasn’t imported correctly” or “this booking went to the wrong time”), start the conversation in the chat. The chat is text-only, so when a screenshot, screen recording, or any other file is needed, send it to support@bookora.me and reference the issue you’re already discussing in chat.
Sending files, screenshots, or videos
Section titled “Sending files, screenshots, or videos”The chat does not accept attachments of any kind — no images, screenshots, screen recordings, audio, or documents. To share a file with support:
- Email it to support@bookora.me.
- Include a short description and, if you’ve already started a chat, mention that you’re following up from the in-app chat.
- Keep the chat open for any further back-and-forth.
Limits and things to know
Section titled “Limits and things to know”- The chat is plain text only. No attachments, images, screenshots, screen recordings, audio, or video calls. Send files to support@bookora.me instead.
- You can’t edit or delete a message after sending.
- You can’t search the message history.
- You can’t export the conversation.
- The chat is available on every plan — free and premium.
- The AI only answers Bookora questions. It declines off-topic questions such as politics, jokes, coding help, or math.
- Very short messages or messages in mixed languages can be misclassified. Write a full sentence in the language you want a reply in.
- The AI never quotes specific subscription prices or release dates — those change. Check the app for current pricing, and feature requests don’t come with a promised delivery date.
Common issues
Section titled “Common issues”Failed to send message. A network issue. The message wasn’t added to the list — tap send again.Failed to load messages. A network or server issue. The screen still shows cached messages.- The typing indicator never stops. It’s a stuck animation, not a real long compose. Wait a few seconds and send your question again if no reply arrives.
- The
AIchip is missing on a message I expected from Kora. That message came from a humanSpecialistwho took over the thread. The handoff is automatic. Could not open Chatwhen tapping from Home. Restart the app and try again. If it keeps happening, email support@bookora.me.- No reply has arrived. Auto-replies are near-instant; human replies depend on staff availability. If you’re waiting on a human, the AI may handle simpler questions in the meantime.
- Push notifications for new replies aren’t arriving. Open the chat — the unread count clears on view. If you never get push notifications, check that they’re enabled in your phone’s settings.
- Kora replied in English but I wrote in another language. Very short or ambiguous messages default to English. Write a full sentence in your language and try again.
Refunds and account-specific issues
Section titled “Refunds and account-specific issues”- For subscription refunds, see Subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by Bookora.
- For account-specific issues that need someone to look at your data — or any time you have a screenshot, screen recording, or other file to share — email support@bookora.me. That’s the fastest way to get a fix, since the in-app chat can’t accept attachments.
