Subscription

Bookora is freemium. The premium subscription unlocks Online Booking, Google Calendar Sync, and automatic notifications (Email and Telegram reminders). Purchases run through Apple’s App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android.

Triggered any time you try to enable a premium feature (for example, Enable Online Booking or connecting Google Calendar). Also available via the subscription tile or banner at the top of the Settings tab.

  • Subscribe to a plan with a billing period that suits you.
  • See current prices and any free-trial offers right in the app.
  • Upgrade or downgrade between plans through your device’s store.
  • Restore your subscription on a new device or after reinstalling.
  • Cancel auto-renew from your device’s store settings.
  • Online Booking — your public booking page is enabled. See Online Booking.
  • Google Calendar sync — connect and sync with your Google Calendar. See Google Calendar Sync.
  • Automatic notificationsEmail and Telegram reminders are sent automatically when appointments are created, updated, or canceled, and as scheduled reminders before the appointment. See Notifications.
  1. Toggle a premium feature, or tap the subscription tile on Settings. The subscription bottom sheet opens.
  2. The intro screen shows a featured plan. Tap View all plans to see every plan.
  3. Tap a plan card to highlight it. The primary button text describes what tapping it will do — for example, Try for FREE if you’re eligible for a free trial, Subscribe Now to purchase, Switch for FREE or Switch for {price} to change plans, or Current Active Plan (disabled) if you’re already on it.
  4. Tap the primary button. Your device’s purchase sheet opens (Face ID, Touch ID, password, or store account confirmation).
  5. On success, you’ll see Subscription activated successfully!. The premium badge updates within a few seconds.

For current prices, available plans, and trial offers, open the subscription sheet in the app — pricing and trial offers can change over time.

If you’ve reinstalled the app, switched devices, or your premium badge still shows Free after a successful payment:

  1. Open the subscription intro screen and tap Restore in the header, or tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the bottom sheet.
  2. You’ll see one of these messages:
    • Your purchases have been restored successfully!
    • No previous purchases found.
    • Failed to restore purchases.

You need to be signed into the same store account that made the original purchase.

Cancellation happens in your device’s store settings, not inside Bookora:

  • iOS: Open your phone’s Settings app > tap your name at the top > Subscriptions > Bookora > Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Open the Google Play app > tap your profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > Bookora > Cancel subscription.

Your premium stays active until the end of the current billing period, then auto-disables.

If you previously had a plan at a different price, you may be able to re-subscribe at that price through your device’s store:

  • iOS: Open Settings > your name > Subscriptions, pick Bookora, and choose your plan.

Refunds for App Store subscriptions are processed by Apple, not by Bookora. Use Apple’s refund portal at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. Background information is at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084.

For Google Play purchases, request a refund through your Play Store order history.

Once your subscription is fully expired, Bookora automatically:

  1. Disables automatic notifications.
  2. Disconnects Google Calendar — your stored access is cleared and the events Bookora created in your Google Calendar are removed. You’ll need to reconnect manually after renewing.
  3. Disables your online booking page.

Renew premium to re-enable these features.

If a scheduled renewal payment doesn’t go through (for example, your card was declined or it expired), your subscription doesn’t switch off immediately. Apple and Google both apply a short grace period during which they keep retrying the charge, and your premium features stay active in Bookora for that window. Use this time to fix the payment:

  • iOS: Open your phone’s Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > Bookora, then update the payment method. Apple may also send an email or in-store prompt to update billing.
  • Android: Open the Google Play app > tap your profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > Bookora, then fix the payment method. Play Store will usually notify you with a banner as well.

Once the charge succeeds, the subscription renews normally and nothing in Bookora changes. If the grace period ends without a successful payment, the subscription is treated as expired and the steps above kick in. You can resubscribe at any time afterward.

Account deletion has a separate 7-day grace period that’s unrelated to billing — see Account Deletion.

  • Purchases are handled by your device’s store (Apple App Store or Google Play). The store is the source of truth for whether your subscription is active.
  • Trial eligibility is per-store-account, not per-Bookora-account. Once a trial is used, the same store account usually can’t reuse it.
  • Cancellation in your store stops future renewals but doesn’t refund the current period.
  • You can’t view billing history or change payment methods from inside Bookora — manage them in your device’s store.
  • Subscriptions aren’t available on the web. Use the iOS or Android app to subscribe.
  • The premium badge still shows Free right after a successful purchase. The badge may take a few seconds to update. Pull to refresh on the Home screen, or navigate to another tab and back. If it persists for more than a minute, tap Restore Purchases.
  • Subscription purchase completed, but premium access was not activated. Please contact support. Tap Restore Purchases. If that doesn’t help, open the in-app chat and share the date of purchase and your App Store or Play Store order ID. See Support Chat.
  • No previous purchases found. after tapping Restore. You’re signed into a different store account than the one that bought the subscription. Switch accounts in your device’s store settings.
  • The paywall won’t open at all. You’re using the web version, which doesn’t support subscriptions. Use the iOS or Android app.
  • You already have this subscription plan. The plan you tapped is your current one. Pick a different plan or close the sheet.
  • My subscription auto-renewed unexpectedly. Auto-renew is handled by your store account. Cancel it in App Store > Subscriptions or Play Store > Subscriptions.
  • A feature stopped working. Check whether your subscription is still active in your device’s store. Online Booking, Google Calendar sync, and automatic notifications stop once the subscription is fully expired. If a renewal payment recently failed, you may still be inside the store’s grace period — update your payment method to keep premium uninterrupted.
  • Google Calendar disconnected unexpectedly. Your premium probably expired. Renew premium and reconnect Google Calendar.
  • I bought a feature pack but the balance didn’t update. Tap Restore Purchases. If that doesn’t help, contact support with the receipt.
  • I see a different price than before. Prices can change over time. Existing subscribers can sometimes re-subscribe at their previous price through your device’s store settings.

Bookora doesn’t issue ad-hoc discount or promo codes. The Referral program is the supported way to earn free premium time — see Referrals.
