Referrals

The Referral Program lets you earn free premium time by inviting friends to Bookora. For each friend who subscribes to a 3-month plan through your referral link at 50% off, you earn 3 free months of premium. The reward is one-time per friend — renewals don’t count again.

How to get there

Home tab > Referral tile.

What you can do

• Generate a unique referral code.
• Share your code or referral link through any installed app.
• Earn 3 free months of premium each time a friend subscribes through your code to a 3-month plan at 50% off.
• Apply (activate) your earned months when you’re ready.
• Redeem a friend’s code if someone has shared one with you — you’ll get a 3-month plan at 50% off.

Generate and share your code

1. Open Referral.
2. Tap the 🎁 Share & Earn header. If you don’t yet have a code, tap GENERATE to create one.
3. Tap the code or the share icon. The share sheet appears with:
   • Copy code — copies your code to the clipboard.
   • Share message — sends a pre-filled message that includes your referral link through any app on your phone.

Track your rewards

The rewards tile shows three numbers:

• Earned — months you’ve earned from friends who subscribed through your code.
• Activated — months you’ve already applied to your account.
• Saved — the total amount your referrals have saved (in your regional currency).

Activate earned months

1. Make sure your subscription is not currently active. Earned months can’t be activated while you have an active subscription.
2. Tap Activate {N} Months.
3. Confirm in the dialog. The action is irreversible — the months are applied to your premium expiry immediately.

Use a friend’s code

1. Tap Use Friend's Code.
2. Type the code your friend shared with you.
3. Tap Apply. The discount link opens automatically to take you to a discounted purchase.

Limits and things to know

• Your referral code is generated once and stays the same — re-tapping Generate returns the existing code.
• Codes are short alphanumeric strings; check the exact code in the 🎁 Share & Earn section.
• The reward is fixed: 3 free months for you, a 3-month plan at 50% off for your friend.
• A friend can only earn you a reward once. Renewals by the same friend don’t generate additional rewards.
• You can’t use your own code — you’ll see You cannot use your own referral code.
• You can’t activate earned months while you already have an active subscription. The button shows Subscription Active and is disabled in that case.
• Activation is irreversible.
• You can’t see the individual list of who referred you — only the aggregate numbers.
• If your friend cancels their subscription later, you keep any months you’ve already earned.
• Multiple referrals stack — your premium is extended for each activated friend.

Common issues

• Failed to generate referral code. Please try again. Retry — usually a transient network issue.
• Invalid code. Check and try again. when applying a friend’s code. Double-check the code — copy it from your friend if possible to avoid typos.
• No discount link received. Please try again. Re-tap Apply.
• Could not open discount link. Please try again. Your browser may not have launched. Tap Apply again.
• The Activate button is disabled. You have an active subscription. Wait until it ends to activate the months, or cancel it first.
• A friend used my code but I didn’t get the reward. The reward activates when their subscription purchase completes. If they accepted but haven’t paid, you’ll see them as accepted but not yet purchased — wait for payment to clear.
• I got two friends to use the code but only one reward credited. Contact support if a second reward doesn’t appear after both friends’ payments have cleared.
