Appointments

Appointments are bookings you have with a specific client for one or more services at a specific time. You can create them manually or accept them from your online booking page.

  • Create: Calendar tab > + button > Appointment.
  • View or edit: Calendar tab > tap any appointment card > Edit Appointment on the details screen.
  • Add one or more services to a single appointment.
  • Override an individual service price for a one-off discount, or set a custom total price for the whole appointment.
  • Set a custom duration that differs from the sum of service durations.
  • Notify the client when you create, update, or cancel the appointment.
  • Duplicate an existing appointment as a template for a new one.
  1. Tap + on the Calendar and choose Appointment.
  2. Tap the Client section and pick an existing client. To add a new client without leaving the form, create one inside the sheet.
  3. Tap Services and tick the services to include. Each service’s price is pre-filled from the most recent appointment you had with this client for that service; if there’s no prior appointment, the service’s default price is used. You can override an individual service price for this appointment, or toggle the custom-price field on the appointment to enter a single total instead.
  4. Tap Location and pick an existing address, or add a new one.
  5. Tap Schedule and set the date, the start time, and either an end time or a custom duration.
  6. If the client has notifications enabled and the appointment is in the future, the Notifications section appears. Toggle Notify client about updates and the 24-hour reminder as needed.
  7. Add free-text Notes if useful.
  8. Tap Save. A toast confirms Appointment created: <name>.
  1. Tap the appointment on the calendar.
  2. Tap Edit Appointment.
  3. Change any field. Saving sends a notification to the client if the Notify client about updates toggle is on.
  4. Tap Save.
  1. Tap the appointment to open its details.
  2. Tap the duplicate action in the top-right.
  3. The editor opens with everything copied, but the date is reset to today. Adjust the date before saving.
  1. Tap the appointment to open its details.
  2. Tap the delete action in the top-right.
  3. A confirmation appears. If notifications are enabled for the client, you can tick Notify client about cancellation before confirming.
  4. Tap DELETE.

Any appointment can be deleted, including past ones. Deleting a past appointment removes it from your statistics, so only delete what you really mean to remove.

Attendance and payment are not toggled on the appointment details or edit screens. They are marked only from the Refine your statistics flow on the Statistics page. Bookora counts every appointment as attended and paid by default, so you only need to flag the exceptions there.

  • Appointments cannot recur. To repeat a slot for the same client, duplicate manually, or use a Task or Break if you only need to block the time. See Tasks and Breaks.
  • The Notifications section only appears when the client has notifications enabled and the appointment is in the future. Past appointments don’t trigger notifications.
  • Past appointments are kept in your history for statistics and reporting. Deleting a past appointment removes it from your stats — do so only when you really mean to remove it.
  • All edits go through the full editor — there are no inline edits on the details page.
  • Please complete all required fields. Pick at least one client and one service.
  • Failed to save appointment. Usually a network issue. Tap Save again, or check your connection.
  • The Notifications section isn’t showing. The client may have notifications turned off, or the appointment time is in the past.
  • Adding more services doesn’t change the price. The appointment is in custom-price mode. Toggle the custom-price field off to let the total recalculate, or edit the total manually.
  • The duplicate appears on today’s date instead of the original date. That’s by design — change the date inside the duplicated appointment before saving.
  • I don’t want to lose a past appointment’s history. Edit it instead of deleting. Deleted past appointments are removed from your statistics.
