Account Settings

Three pages under Settings > Account let you edit who you are (Personal details), what you see (Regional Preferences), and how you sign in (Privacy & Security).

Settings tab > pick a card under Account: Personal details, Regional Preferences, or Privacy & Security.

Edit:

  • Name — 3 to 255 characters.
  • Phone — international format. Pick your country with the country picker.
  • Instagram — 1 to 30 characters, letters, digits, and dots only.

Tap Save Changes. The button is only enabled when you’ve made real edits.

  • Name must be at least 3 characters. Use at least 3 characters.
  • Invalid phone number. Check the country code and format.
  • Invalid Instagram username format. Letters, digits, and dots only, with no leading or trailing dots.

Five cards, each opens a picker dialog:

  • Language — pick from the supported app languages, including Arabic with full right-to-left layout.
  • Currency — a large list including AED, USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, BRL, INR, CNY, RUB, AUD, CAD, AZN, and many more. The currency you pick is used across prices, statistics, and the booking page.
  • First Day of Week — Monday through Sunday.
  • Time Format — 12-hour (1:00 PM) or 24-hour (13:00).
  • Date Format — pick the order (DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY/MM/DD) and the separator (/, -, or .).

Tap Save Changes after picking.

  • Currency symbol in Statistics didn’t update. Reopen Statistics or pull to refresh.
  • The app looks mirrored after switching to Arabic. That’s intentional — Arabic uses right-to-left layout. Navigation and text flip by design. Switch back to a left-to-right language to restore the previous layout.
  • Some text in another language seems untranslated. Rare, but possible if a string is brand-new or has a placeholder. Report it via Support Chat with a screenshot.

If you signed in with Apple or Google, your email and password are managed by your sign-in provider. The Privacy & Security page shows the email but doesn’t let you edit it or set a password from inside Bookora. Change them in your Apple ID or Google Account settings instead.

If you signed up with email and password:

  • Edit Email (must be a valid format).
  • Change your password:
    1. Enter your Current Password (if you have one).
    2. Enter New Password (minimum 8 characters, maximum 32).
    3. Confirm in Confirm Password — it must match.
  • Tap Save Changes.
  • Please enter a valid email. Use a standard email format like name@domain.tld.
  • Passwords do not match. Re-type Confirm Password exactly the same as New Password.
  • Please enter your current password. Required when changing the password if your account has one.
  • I can’t edit my email or password. You signed in with Apple or Google. Manage your sign-in details in your Apple ID or Google Account settings.
  • The supported app languages cover several major regions.
  • The supported currencies include over 50 options.
  • Password rules are minimum 8 characters and maximum 32 — no other complexity requirements.

Account deletion is handled on a separate page. See Account Deletion.
