Introduction

Bookora is a scheduling app for service professionals — salon owners, fitness coaches, therapists, consultants, and anyone who books appointments with clients. This help center walks through every feature in the mobile app: how to use it, what it can and can’t do, and what to do if something doesn’t work as expected.

  • iOS — available on the App Store.
  • Android — available on Google Play.
  • macOS (Apple Silicon) — install the iOS app from the Mac App Store on an Apple-Silicon Mac.

Each feature has its own page with the same shape:

  • What it is — a one-line summary.
  • How to get there — the tap path in the app.
  • What you can do — the user-facing capabilities.
  • Step-by-step — how to perform the most common tasks, with the exact button labels you’ll see in the app.
  • Limits and things to know — limits, defaults, and gotchas.
  • Common issues — symptoms, error messages, and self-serve fixes.

If you’re not sure where to look, jump to Troubleshooting — it’s organized by symptom and points to the right page.

  • Calendar — read the day timeline and month grid, create events.
  • Working Hours — set the hours you work on each date.
  • Appointments — create, edit, duplicate, and delete client bookings.
  • Tasks and Breaks — block your own time, one-off or recurring.
  • Clients — manage your client list, custom prices, and notifications per client.
  • Services — set up the services you offer.
  • Addresses — manage the locations where you work.
  • Consumables — track supplies you use during services.
  • Notifications — send appointment messages to clients.
  • Support Chat — get help from Bookora’s AI assistant and human team.
